Description
RSIC-1.5CRC is the ideal clip to use in any joist or concrete application where a dropped drywall ceiling is required. The RSIC-1.5CRC assembly decouples and isolates the gypsum board from the floor structure above leading to better acoustical performance. This clip prevents noise and vibrations from transfering through the structure. In addition it allows for a chase to hide mechanical ducting and plumbing lines. Made in the USA with recycled content.
- Fastening
- Snaps onto the cold rolled channel, allowing for all the wires supporting the cold rolled channel to be hard connected to the ceiling above, including the vertial strut.
This clip leaves a minumum cavity of 3-½” with no maximum. - Acoustical Design Load Rating
- Designed to withstand 36 lbs per isolator.
