Description
RSIC-1 Low Profile is designed to be used with any wood or steel framed ceiling system. It decouples and isolates the gypsum board or plywood from the structure where maximum ceiling height is desired.
RSIC-1 Low Profile can support one layer of ⅝” gypsum board when spaced 24- x 48″ oc. For heavier systems increase the number of isolators to support the additonal weight of the system.
- Fastening
- Fastens directly to the side of the framing creating a minimum ½” cavity, maximum 1″ cavity.
- Acoustical Design Load Rating
- Designed to withstand 18 lbs per isolator.
