Acoustical Black Wall Boards
TheaterBlack™ Acoustical Board is a lightweight, black acoustical board that provides exceptional acoustical performance while remaining unobtrusive to the eye.
These boards offer high sound absorption and low light reflectivity.
TheaterBlack™ Acoustical Board is ideal for commercial cinemas, performance theaters and sound stages as well as today’s highly demanding home theater listening and viewing environments.

- Finishes
- TheaterBlack™ core is flat black in colour throughout and will not leave anothe colour exposed if cutting is required. The black finish also leads to its low light reflectance properties.
- Dimensions
- TheaterBlack™ Acoustical Boards are available as 48″ x 96″. Special sizes are available upon request. Field cuts may be easily accomplished by the installer,
- They are available in two different thicknesses, 1″ and 2″, but panels may be stacked to achieve a thickness of 3″ and 4″
- Fasteners
- These acoustical boards are fastened through the use of impaling clips and/or adhesive.
